9 Best Social Media Schedulers for Small Business in 2026
By Anu Verma
For a small business that posts to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and more from one queue, the best social media scheduler is PostWharf: $15 a month covers one brand with unlimited channels and no per-channel fee, and every post gets a delivery receipt that shows which networks received it. PostWharf does not post to Google Business Profile, so if your Google listing matters, look at Publer, at $20 a month for five accounts, or Buffer, at $30 a month for five channels with a free plan for three.

We priced nine schedulers for one brand on five networks with one person doing the posting, from each vendor's pricing page or a dated search on 16 October 2026, and checked each one for a free plan, Google Business Profile posting and Canva.
Picks by need:
- Unlimited channels in one queue at one flat price: PostWharf Starter, $15 a month, or $10 billed yearly.
- Google Business Profile and Canva on a small budget: Publer Professional, $20 a month for five accounts.
- A free plan to begin on: Buffer, free for three channels, then $6 a channel a month on Essentials.
- Free now, with post and ad reports later: Metricool, free for one brand without LinkedIn or X, or $25 a month on Starter.
- An Instagram feed planned visually: Later Starter, $25 a month for one profile on each of up to eight networks.
- Evergreen posts on rotation: SocialBee Bootstrap, $29 a month for five profiles.
- Facebook and Instagram only: Meta Business Suite, which costs nothing.
To find out whether one queue suits your week, try PostWharf's Starter plan free for seven days: one brand, unlimited channels, and nothing to pay if you cancel before the trial ends. If you also want to automate the work around your posts, start learning with the free Automate Basics AI courses.
What to check before you pick a scheduler
For a business running its own accounts, the sticker price on a pricing page rarely matches the bill. Four things decide it.
- What the tool counts. Buffer bills each channel, Publer and Hopper HQ bill each account, SocialBee, Postiz and SocialPilot sell bundles of profiles, Later sells one profile per network, and PostWharf bills per brand. When you add a sixth network, only some of these bills move.
- Whether there is a free plan. Buffer, Publer and Metricool have one. The other six offer a trial of seven or 14 days, and some take your card at sign-up.
- Google Business Profile. A shop, salon or clinic that customers find on Google Maps may want its updates on its Google listing too. Six of the nine tools here publish there.
- Canva. If you design posts in Canva, a built-in connection spares you a download and an upload for every image. Six of the nine connect to it.
How we chose these 9
The setup. One brand posting to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, one person scheduling, and the plan billed month to month. For each tool we found the cheapest plan that holds that setup.
The pool. PostWharf; the 20 other schedulers that AI answer engines named for social-scheduling questions in a Cituna scan on 16 October 2026; and Hopper HQ, which ranked second on Google for "best social media scheduler for small business" that day.
The bar. A tool made the list if it:
- publishes directly to all five networks in the setup,
- sells a self-serve plan that holds the setup for one person at $30 a month or less, billed monthly, and
- shows that price on its own pricing page or in a search we could date.
The order. PostWharf comes first, as our pick for one queue at one flat price per brand; it also has the lowest monthly price for this setup among the paid plans here. The other eight follow by that monthly price, cheapest first, using the top of the range where sources give one. Ties go to the tool with a free plan, then to one that posts to Google Business Profile, then to one that connects to Canva.
The sources. PostWharf's facts come from postwharf.com and its pricing page. Prices, plans and networks for Publer, Metricool, Later, SocialBee, Postiz, Buffer, SocialPilot, Hootsuite, Sendible, Sprout Social and Agorapulse come from each vendor's own pricing and help pages, read on 16 October 2026. Canva support for Buffer, Later and Metricool, and Google Business Profile support for Postiz, come from one web search per tool that day. Hopper HQ's prices come from third-party summaries that one search returned, and its networks from Hopper's own small-business guide. "Not found" in the table means our search did not show the feature, not that the tool lacks it. We did not time how long each tool takes to get a first post out; the free plan column shows how each one lets you start.
Left out. Sendible's cheapest plan is $35 a month for six profiles, and Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Agorapulse charge $99 per user a month on their entry plans (Hootsuite's is the yearly-billed rate), so all four miss the price bar. Meta Business Suite reaches only Meta's own apps, so it gets its own section below. We did not check Vista Social, CoSchedule, MeetEdgar, Planable, Pallyy, Blotato, Ayrshare or Zoho Social for this page.

The 9 schedulers, ranked
1. PostWharf
PostWharf lets you write a post once and send it to each account you connect. You write one caption and one set of hashtags, change the wording for any single network if you need to, then publish at once or at a time you choose. It publishes today to Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Telegram.
At this size: Starter is one workspace, meaning one brand, with unlimited channels and 200 scheduled posts a month, for $15 a month or $10 a month billed yearly. A sixth or seventh network adds nothing to the bill, because there is no per-channel fee and no network carries a surcharge, X included (PostWharf pricing, read 16 October 2026).
Knowing it went out: after a post publishes, PostWharf checks it again and keeps a receipt with one row per network, and it retries a failed delivery by itself. If an AI assistant drafts your posts, nothing is published until you approve it. Starter also includes the REST API, an MCP server, the wharf command-line tool and webhooks, and PostWharf lists Zapier, Make and n8n among the tools it works with (PostWharf, read 16 October 2026).
Free plan, Google and Canva: there is no free plan; Starter's first seven days are free, and the card is charged when the trial ends. Google Business Profile is not among its networks, and the pages we read do not mention Canva, so you upload finished images or point to a URL where they already live. Its character counter and caption generator work without an account.
Where it falls short: its pages describe no analytics reports, no inbox for answering comments and no mobile app. Reddit, Discord, Snapchat and WordPress are available on request only, and Starter's cap of 200 scheduled posts a month is the limit to watch as you post more often.
If one queue at one flat price is what you are after, start PostWharf's seven-day Starter trial; cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
2. Publer
Publer prices each social account. On Professional, one account costs $5 a month ($4 billed yearly), three cost $12 and five cost $20, every 10th account is free, and the plan owner is included; each extra team member adds $2 a month (Publer plans, read 16 October 2026). Professional adds X, unlimited scheduling, first comments and threads.
Its network list is long: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and WordPress, so a local business can send the same update to its Google listing as to Instagram. You can pull images in from Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox or Unsplash, and schedule up to 500 posts at once from a CSV file.
Free plan: one user, three social accounts (X excluded), 10 scheduled posts per account and 24 hours of post history. Professional has a seven-day trial and Business a 14-day one.
Where it falls short: analytics, best times to post, the API and the MCP server all need Business, which is $35 a month for five accounts, and each profile has a daily posting limit below Enterprise.
3. Metricool
Metricool schedules posts and reports on how they did, including ads on Meta, Google and TikTok. Starter is $25 a month, or $20 billed yearly, for up to five brands, and a brand holds one profile on each network, so a single business on five networks fits with room to spare. X sits outside the plan price: each connected X account costs $10 a month more (Metricool pricing, read 16 October 2026). Its prices exclude VAT.
It covers Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile, with X as the paid add-on, and its inbox collects messages from Instagram, Facebook, X, Google Business Profile, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. Canva connects inside the planner on paid plans, according to Metricool's help centre (found in a search on 16 October 2026).
Free plan: one brand on every network except LinkedIn and X, 20 scheduled posts a month and 30 days of analytics. There is no standard trial of the paid plans.
Where it falls short: a business that posts to LinkedIn pays from the first day, X adds $10 a month per account, and two Instagram accounts for the same business take two brands.
4. Later
Later is built around a drag-and-drop calendar and a Link in Bio page, and it suggests the best times to post on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Starter is $25 a month, or $18.75 billed yearly, for one social set (one profile on each of up to eight networks), one user and 30 posts per profile a month (Later pricing, read 16 October 2026). It auto-publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Snapchat.
Later has an official app inside Canva that sends finished designs straight to Later's media library, according to Later's help centre (found in a search on 16 October 2026).
Free plan: none. Starter, Growth and Scale each come with a 14-day trial.
Where it falls short: X, Bluesky and Google Business Profile are not on its network list, Starter takes no add-ons, and 30 posts per profile a month works out at about one a day. The social inbox and approvals start on Growth, at $50 a month.
5. SocialBee
SocialBee sorts your posts into content categories and builds the schedule from them, so evergreen posts can be recycled and time-limited ones can expire. Bootstrap is $29 a month, or $290 a year billed annually, for five social profiles, one user and one workspace, with 10 content categories and unlimited AI-written content (SocialBee pricing, read 16 October 2026).
It posts directly to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Google Business Profile and Bluesky. For places it cannot post to, such as WhatsApp, Telegram and Facebook Groups, it sends a reminder to your phone instead. Canva is on its integrations list, alongside Zapier and Make.
Free plan: none. The 14-day trial needs no card, and posting stops when it ends.
Where it falls short: five profiles leave no room for a sixth network on Bootstrap (five more profiles cost $15 a month), and Bootstrap has no bulk editor, CSV upload or post approval, with three months of analytics.
6. Postiz
Postiz is an open-source scheduler that publishes to 34 platforms, among them Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit and Discord. Its hosted Standard plan is $29 a month, or $23 billed yearly, for five channels and unlimited posts with no team members, and its MCP server, CLI and public API come with every plan (Postiz pricing, read 16 October 2026). Google Business Profile has its own channel page on postiz.com (found in a search on 16 October 2026); the same search turned up no Canva integration.
Free plan: no hosted free plan, and the seven-day trial asks for a card. The AGPL-3.0 code costs nothing to run on your own server.
Where it falls short: Standard's five channels are the whole allowance, self-hosting means registering a developer app with most networks (which Postiz's docs say can take weeks for Meta, YouTube and TikTok), its pages describe no mobile app, and annual plans are not refunded.
7. Buffer
Buffer charges per connected channel. The free plan covers three channels, 10 scheduled posts per channel at a time, one user and 30 days of insights. On Essentials each channel costs $6 a month, or $5 billed yearly, so five channels come to $30 a month ($25 billed yearly), with unlimited scheduled posts, analytics and first-comment scheduling (Buffer pricing, read 16 October 2026). Essentials and Team each have a 14-day trial.
It publishes to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Google Business Profile and Substack, and a community inbox handles replies to comments. You can open Canva from Buffer's composer and schedule the design without leaving Buffer, on desktop only, per Buffer's help centre (found in a search on 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: once you upgrade, the three channels that were free are billed too, so the cost grows with each network; Essentials has one user, and Instagram personal profiles get reminders rather than automatic posts.
8. SocialPilot
SocialPilot's Essentials plan is $30 a month, or $25.50 billed yearly, for seven social accounts and one user, with 500 AI credits and a content library; each account beyond seven is $4 a month (SocialPilot plans, read 16 October 2026). It publishes to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Bluesky, connects to Canva, and has iOS and Android apps. Its MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT is on every plan.
Free plan: none. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Where it falls short: Essentials has no analytics, social inbox or approvals, which start on Standard at $50 a month, and bulk scheduling and CSV upload wait for Premium.
9. Hopper HQ
Hopper HQ's own small-business guide describes a visual calendar where you drag posts into place and preview the feed, bulk upload by CSV, an AI caption generator and a hashtag research tool, and automatic publishing of Instagram posts, Reels and Stories with no phone notification. It lists nine networks: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, X, Threads, Bluesky and YouTube (Hopper HQ, read 16 October 2026).
Hopper's own pricing page did not come up in our search. The third-party summaries it returned (PostPlanify, Social Champ and Toolradar, searched 16 October 2026) agree that it bills per social account: Grow at $5 to $6 per account a month for one user, and Scale at $10 per account with unlimited users. Five accounts on Grow come to $25 to $30 a month.
Free plan: none; there is a 14-day trial.
Where it falls short: Google Business Profile is not on its network list, our search found no Canva integration, and the summaries disagree on whether $5 is the monthly or the yearly rate, so confirm the price with Hopper before you pay.
If you only post to Facebook and Instagram
Meta Business Suite is free, and it schedules posts to a Facebook Page and its connected Instagram account from one screen (Post Planner, found in a search on 16 October 2026). A ShortSync guide says Threads can be chosen as a channel too, and that the free route suits businesses that post only on Meta's platforms. That is the catch: TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google Business Profile are outside it, which is why it is not in the ranked list. The guides we found give different limits for how far ahead you can schedule, so check Meta's help centre for the current one.
Moving off Hootsuite
If price is why you are leaving Hootsuite, the gap is wide. Its entry plan, Standard, is $99 per user a month billed yearly, for up to 10 social accounts, and Professional is $199 per user a month, also billed yearly. There is no free plan; the 14-day trial needs no card (Hootsuite plans, read 16 October 2026). For that money you get a shared inbox, social listening and competitor benchmarks on top of scheduling, which a larger team may use every day. Every tool in the ranked list holds the five-network setup for $30 a month or less.
Filling the queue
A scheduler only saves time when there is something to put in it. Planning a month of posts in a single ChatGPT session gives you the list to schedule, and turning one blog post into five social posts with AI gets several posts out of every article you write. For where else AI can take work off a small team, see our AI for Small Businesses course.
Before you choose
Prices in this category change often, and Hopper HQ's figures come from third-party summaries, so confirm the plan you pick on the vendor's own pricing page; every figure above was read on 16 October 2026.
If one queue and one flat price per brand fits how you work, start PostWharf's seven-day Starter trial and connect your accounts. Whichever scheduler you choose, start learning with the free Automate Basics AI courses to automate the writing that fills it.
