Submit your tool
Automate Basics is read by people choosing AI and automation tools for their work. If your company makes one, list it for free, or claim its page if we already cover it. Then write guides for the people who use it. An editor reviews every company, listing and guide before it goes live.

How it works
Step 1
Create a company account
Your name, your work email, your company and its website.
Step 2
We check your company
An editor checks that the account belongs to the company behind the website. You can carry on meanwhile.
Step 3
Add your tool, write guides
Describe the tool as its page will show it, or claim its page if it is already here. Then write guides for the people who use it.
Step 4
Submit each one for review
An editor checks it against your own website and emails you the decision. Anything that needs changing comes back with a note.

What we review, and why
Readers come here to decide what to use, so everything on the site has to be true when they read it. That is the whole of the review.
- The company. The account belongs to the company behind the website.
- The facts. Prices, the free plan and features match your own website today.
- The tone. Plain descriptions. Superlatives and claims about other tools are removed.
- Comparisons. Any comparison says where the other tool is better.
- Authorship. Guides carry your company's name and say you make the tool.
When something needs changing, it comes back to you with a note, and you can resubmit. Approved work can be taken down later if it stops being accurate; you are told why.

Questions companies ask
Is listing a tool free?
Yes. A reviewed listing, a company page and unlimited guides for your users cost nothing. Featured placement and category sponsorship are optional and are only offered after the listing has been approved.
What do editors check?
That the account belongs to the company, that prices, the free plan and features match the company's own website today, that descriptions are plain rather than promotional, and that any comparison says where the other tool is better.
Who is shown as the author of a guide I write?
Your company. Each guide carries your company's name and says that you make the tool, so readers know who wrote it. It is also linked from the tool's page.
My tool is already in the directory. What do I do?
Claim its page when you add the tool, instead of listing it a second time. Once approved, the page says your company maintains it and links your guides. The facts on it stay the editors' research, dated and sourced.
Does paying change how my tool is described?
No. A paid placement is labelled Sponsored wherever it appears. It never changes a tool's facts, its place in an editorial list, or what a guide says about it.
How long does review take?
Featured listings are reviewed ahead of the free queue. We email every decision, and a request for changes always comes with a note saying what to change.
