Verify a certificate

Enter a credential ID and we will tell you who holds it, when it was issued and what they were assessed on. No account, and nothing to sign up for — this is a lookup in the register that issued it.

The ID is printed on the certificate itself, and is in the link the holder shares. You do not need their name — the register returns it.

What this check does and doesn't prove

  • It does prove that this credential was issued by Automate Basics, to the person named, on the date shown, and that they met the published pass mark on that certification's assessment. The record is the one written when the certificate was issued. A mistyped, altered or invented ID is not found.
  • A revoked credential says so. If the payment behind one is refunded or reversed, the record is kept and marked withdrawn rather than deleted, and this page reports it as revoked instead of valid.
  • It does not prove the holder did the coursework under supervision. The assessment score is machine-marked by us; the live applications inside every course are self-assessed by the learner against a published rubric, and the certificate states that on its face. Automate Basics is not accredited by a national qualifications body.
