Fair questions.
- Why would I pay when every lesson is free?
- Most people should not. If you want the ability to do this work, read the courses, sit the assessment and pay nothing — there is no trial and no locked module. The payment buys one thing: a credential ID a recruiter or a client can check without contacting us. That is worth something when you need to prove it to a stranger, and nothing when you do not.
- Why do the four cost different amounts?
- They certify different levels of responsibility. AIE-100 is 2h 30m with a 10-question paper, AIW-200 is 4h 35m with a 15-question paper, AID-300 is 5h with a 15-question paper, AIA-300 is 6h 30m with a 20-question paper. The price rises with the scope of the capability being certified — from work you review yourself to delegated and unattended systems — not simply with lesson count.
- Does a higher price mean a softer pass mark?
- No. Every certification needs 80% — 8 of 10 on AIE-100, 16 of 20 on AIA-300. Higher levels test broader responsibility: permissions, delegation, changing live systems, failures that can go unnoticed, and accountability for output nobody reviewed.
- Is this really one payment?
- Yes. One payment, per certificate, forever — no renewal, nothing to cancel, and we will not add one to something you have already bought. Google AI Essentials on Coursera, the closest comparable course, is $49 every month for as long as you keep it. Ours is bought once and then never again.
- Which one should I buy?
- Probably none, yet. Start the course free, sit the assessment free, and find out whether you can pass. You are only asked to pay after you have passed, and a pass you never buy a certificate for stays on your record anyway.
- What if I fail the assessment?
- Retake it as often as you like at no cost. The pass mark does not move, and every answer is explained whether you got it right or wrong.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes, within 14 days, as long as the certificate has not been issued — once a credential exists in your name it cannot be un-issued, so that is the cut-off. Ask and it is refunded without an argument.
- Do I need an account to buy?
- You need one to sit the assessment, so by the time there is anything to buy you will have one. The purchase is recorded against the email you buy with; use a different one and you will get an email naming the address to register with.
