7 Best Teal Alternatives for Job Seekers in 2026
By Anu Verma
The seven Teal alternatives worth comparing in 2026 are RecruitMyself, Careerflow, Rezi, Simplify, Huntr, Jobscan and Resume.io. Among the tools that, like Teal, build a resume, check it against a job post and fill in application forms, RecruitMyself has the lowest paid monthly plan: Pro is $19 a month against $29 per 30 days for Teal+, read on 16 October 2026. RecruitMyself is made by a company connected to Automate Basics. Careerflow ($23.99 a month) keeps a tracker next to its builder, and Simplify keeps autofill, tracking and job matches free.

Of the seven Teal alternatives below, RecruitMyself has the lowest paid monthly plan among the tools that, like Teal, build a resume, check it against a job post and fill in application forms: Pro is $19 a month, against $29 per 30 days for Teal+. It also scores open roles against your profile, though its pages name no application tracker. RecruitMyself is made by a company connected to Automate Basics. Careerflow ($23.99 a month) and Rezi ($29) keep a tracker next to the builder, Simplify keeps autofill, tracking and job matches free, Huntr ($40) runs your search from a board, and Jobscan ($49.95) pairs its match-rate scanner with a free builder. Resume.io builds and checks a resume but fills in no forms that we could find. Every price is the tool's month-to-month figure in US dollars, read on 16 October 2026.
Teal pairs a resume builder with a job tracker. Its free plan keeps unlimited resumes, unlimited job tracking and uncapped PDF downloads from 10 templates, shows the top five keywords in a job description, and includes a small allowance of AI credits that does not renew. Teal+ unlocks the match score, unlimited keyword matching and unlimited AI writing for $13 per 7 days, $29 per 30 days or $79 per 90 days, and it renews until you cancel (Teal+ pricing, found 16 October 2026). Its Chrome extension saves jobs from more than 40 job boards and drafts answers on application forms for you to edit and submit, and its AI Interview Coach runs mock interviews built from the job description (Teal's tools, found 16 October 2026). What you might want from another tool: a lower monthly price, or AI help that does not run out on the free plan.

How we chose and ranked these 7
We began with the tools that AI answer engines named next to Teal in a Cituna scan on 16 October 2026. Asked for an AI resume builder under $50, they named Kickresume, Rezi, Resume.io, Zety, Enhancv and FlowCV, among others; asked for AI job search tools, they named Jobright, Simplify, Huntr, Careerflow, LoopCV, Sonara, AIApply and Jobscan, among others. We added RecruitMyself, and the other names in those answers are not covered here. A tool made the list if it has all four of these:
- a resume builder with AI help to write or tailor the resume,
- a check of the resume against one specific job post, as a score or a list of missing keywords,
- a free plan or free version,
- a monthly price we could pin down.
We then compared every tool on six jobs. Five are what Teal does: building the resume, checking it against a job post, tracking applications, filling in application forms and practising for interviews. The sixth, matching you to open roles, Teal also covers: its December 2025 release on buying Ramped names AI job discovery with personalised recommendations and an integrated job board (Business Wire, found 16 October 2026), so Teal covers all six. A job counts when the tool's own pages, or a source our search returned, name it.
Six tools build, check and fill in forms. Each of them covers five of the six jobs, so they differ in which job they miss and in what they cost. We ordered those six by the lowest published month-to-month price of their main paid plan. Resume.io builds and checks but has no form-filling extension we could find, so it comes after the six.
RecruitMyself's facts come from its own pages. For each rival we used one web search on 16 October 2026, plus a search of the vendor's own site where results disagreed. A price found only on third-party pages is left out, and where sources still disagree, the entry says so.
Several tools missed the bar. Reviews put Jobright's Turbo plan at $39.99 or $49.99 a month, and we found no public pricing page for it. Kickresume's ATS checker compares your resume with successful resumes in its own database, and its tailoring rewrites the CV without a score or a list of missing keywords for the job, so it misses the job-post check. Enhancv's Pro is quoted at $24.99, $29 or $39 a month depending on the source. For Zety and FlowCV, the sources we read showed no tailoring or check against a particular job post. LoopCV's own page starts paid plans from €9.99 a month while listings report $19.99, AIApply showed no free plan, and Sonara's pages confirm matched listings and applications rather than a resume builder.

1. RecruitMyself
Best for: job seekers who want to build, check and send applications from one account, with open roles scored for them, for less a month than Teal+.
RecruitMyself is made by a company connected to Automate Basics. It is a hiring platform where job seekers find jobs, build resumes and check them against applicant tracking systems. Its AI builder imports the CV you upload, sharpens your bullet points and fits them to the keywords of a job description, using eight single-column templates and exporting a PDF with selectable text. The CV score rates a resume from 0 to 100 across 30 checks, with keywords carrying 40% of the weight and job-title alignment 20%.
It also covers the search itself. Its job board pulls listings from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters boards twice a day and scores each one against your profile, and Pro emails you the roles that score 70% or more at 8 AM on weekdays. The Chrome extension is free to install and fills in applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, LinkedIn and company career pages; you check each form and press submit yourself. Pro adds one-click tailoring of your CV to each job, unlimited ATS scans with keyword fixes and AI interview prep for any role and company.
Price: Pro is $19 a month, $10 less than Teal+ for 30 days. The 3-month and yearly options are marked as saving 26% and 47% without a price on the page, plans renew until cancelled, and a 7-day money-back guarantee applies (RecruitMyself pricing, read 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: its pages name no application tracker for the self-serve account, so the tracking Teal includes on its free plan is left to you. A sheet with columns for company, role, link, date applied, status, next action and contact does it, and our guide to automating the admin half of a job hunt sets one up with follow-up reminders. Downloads cost money too: building and previewing are free, but the first PDF download starts a 7-day Pro pass at $2.95, then $19 a month unless you cancel, and its pages mention PDF export only.
Start building your resume in RecruitMyself: building and previewing are free, and Pro at $19 a month adds tailoring to each job, unlimited ATS scans and interview prep.
2. Careerflow
Best for: a job tracker with autofill, as in Teal, at a lower monthly price.
Careerflow is built around a job tracker, as Teal is. Its Kanban board keeps notes, follow-up reminders and analytics for each application, and its extension saves jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Google Jobs and company career pages, then autofills forms on several applicant tracking systems. The resume builder matches your resume to a job post you paste in. Its Job Search Portal gathers listings from more than 50 sources with filters and email alerts, but it filters by your search rather than scoring roles against your profile, so we did not count it as job matching.
Price: the free plan gives one tailored resume with basic keyword matching, a basic ATS score on one resume and up to 10 tracked jobs with autofill (Careerflow's free and Premium guide, found 16 October 2026). Premium is $23.99 a month or $172.99 a year, and adds the full ATS score and keyword analyser, unlimited resumes, an advanced LinkedIn optimiser and AI cover letters (Careerflow Premium, found 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: 10 tracked jobs on the free plan is far short of Teal's unlimited free tracking. Careerflow's own pages disagree on whether mock interviews are free or part of Premium, and one review places them in Premium Plus at $44.99 a month.
3. Rezi
Best for: the same mix of jobs as Teal, with the option to pay once instead of every month.
Rezi is a resume builder with the ATS check inside it. Rezi Score rates a resume from 1 to 100 against 23 criteria, among them bullet length, active verbs and quantified results, and AI Keyword Targeting reads a job title, job description and company name, lists the keywords your resume lacks and suggests where they go (Rezi Keyword Targeting, found 16 October 2026). Its Chrome extension fills in applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and other applicant tracking systems from your Rezi profile, and Rezi says the autofill is free. The same extension sorts your jobs into saved, applied, interviewing and rejected, and practises interviews for a specific posting (Rezi Chrome extension, found 16 October 2026). Its changelog lists a September 2026 update that added auto-apply on Greenhouse-hosted postings.
Price: the free plan covers one resume, limited AI, up to three PDF downloads and one AI interview. Pro is $29 a month, the same as Teal+ for 30 days, or $57 a quarter ($19 a month). Lifetime is $149 once and leaves out the monthly Rezi Resume Review (Rezi's plans explained, found 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: the full Rezi Score and Keyword Targeting come with Pro, three downloads are few if you tailor a resume for every job, and we found no feed of matched jobs. On monthly billing it saves nothing over Teal+.
4. Simplify
Best for: autofill, tracking and job matches without paying.
Simplify says its autofill, tracker, job matches and a basic resume builder will stay free for everyone (Simplify autofill, found 16 October 2026). Its Copilot extension fills in application forms from one saved profile and never submits them for you. The Keywords Score compares your resume with one posting at a time and shows the matched and missing keywords as a percentage, which Simplify presents as guidance rather than an employer's ATS score (Simplify help center, found 16 October 2026). Simplify+, which adds AI tailoring and cover letters, costs $39.99 a month, $19.99 a week or $89.99 for three months, renewing automatically (Simplify's plans, found 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: we found no interview practice: its 5-minute AI interview builds your profile rather than preparing you. For practice at no cost, you can turn any job description into interview questions with ChatGPT.
5. Huntr
Best for: job seekers who run the whole search from a board and want each posting scored against their resume.
Huntr's drag-and-drop board moves every application through its stages (Huntr job tracker, found 16 October 2026), and its extension saves jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter and hundreds of other sites, filling in forms where the form is visible on the page. Its Job Match Score rates your resume against a posting's qualifications, responsibilities and keywords (Huntr help center, found 16 October 2026), Resume Tailor adds keywords from each posting to your resume, and the interview question generator writes questions for each saved job with STAR sample answers drawn from your resume.
Price: there is a $0 plan, and Pro is $40 a month, $90 every three months or $160 every six months (Huntr pricing, read 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: at $40 a month it costs $11 more than Teal+ for 30 days, sources put the free plan's limit at 40 or 100 jobs, and its interview prep is written questions and sample answers rather than practice interviews. We found no listings board or alerts, and some employer sites block the extension.
6. Jobscan
Best for: a match rate against each posting, next to a free resume builder.
Jobscan compares your resume with one posting and returns a match rate, with a report on hard skills, job title, soft skills and other keywords (Jobscan, found 16 October 2026). Its resume builder is free: Jobscan's pages describe 9 ATS-friendly templates and unlimited resumes you can create, edit and download (Jobscan resume builder, found 16 October 2026). A free Chrome extension checks the match rate and saves jobs to your tracker from LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor, and Jobscan's pages also name job matching and Auto Apply, which fills in forms for you to review before you submit.
Price: the free account includes 5 resume scans a month. Premium is $49.95 a month, or $89.95 every three months (Jobscan's plan page, found 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: its monthly price is the highest on this page, $20.95 above Teal+ for 30 days, and we found no interview practice. One review calls the free templates very basic, and another notes that quarterly plans carry no pro-rated refunds.
7. Resume.io
Best for: a free ATS score with a second score for how well you match one job.
Resume.io's free ATS checker runs 16 checks and returns a score at once. Add a job description and it returns two scores, one for completeness and one for how closely the resume matches the role, and it can fine-tune the resume for that job (Resume.io ATS checker, found 16 October 2026). Its AI resume builder writes and improves sections for you. One third-party guide describes a job tracker with a Chrome extension that saves jobs from LinkedIn or Indeed, plus interview prep, but we could not confirm either on Resume.io's own pages.
Price: the free plan covers one resume and one cover letter, with TXT downloads and one PDF template. Paid access starts with a 7-day trial at $2.95 that renews at $29.95 every four weeks, or $49.95 every three months, with a 7-day money-back guarantee (Resume.io pricing, found 16 October 2026).
Where it falls short: billing every four weeks means 13 charges a year, $389.35 if you never cancel, and older pages quote $24.95, so confirm the renewal price at checkout. Some countries get one-time plans without every premium feature, and we found no form-filling extension.
About 90 days on each tool
Teal sells 90 days of Teal+ for $79. Here is roughly the same stretch, three months, at the prices above:
- RecruitMyself Pro: $57 paying monthly; the 3-month plan is marked as saving 26%, with no price listed.
- Careerflow Premium: $54.99 on its 3-month plan, or $71.97 paying monthly.
- Rezi Pro: $57 on the quarterly plan, $87 paying monthly, or $149 once for Lifetime.
- Simplify+: $89.99 on its 3-month plan, or $119.97 paying monthly.
- Huntr Pro: $90 on its 3-month plan, or $120 paying monthly.
- Jobscan Premium: $89.95 on the quarterly plan, or $149.85 paying monthly.
- Resume.io: $49.95 on its 3-month plan.
For a search of about three months, four of the seven cost less than Teal+'s 90-day plan: Resume.io and Rezi on their quarterly plans, and RecruitMyself and Careerflow paying monthly.
Which one to pick
- Build, check and apply for the lowest paid monthly price, with open roles scored for you: RecruitMyself, whose Pro plan costs $19 a month.
- A tracker with autofill for less than Teal+: Careerflow, at $23.99 a month.
- Teal's builder, tracker, autofill and interview practice, with a pay-once option: Rezi.
- Autofill, tracking and job matches without paying: Simplify.
- A board for every application, with each posting scored: Huntr.
- A match rate against each posting, with a free builder: Jobscan.
- A free score against one job before you pay for anything: Resume.io.
Every price above was read on 16 October 2026 and changes often, so check each vendor's own page before you pay. To see how your current resume scores before you switch tools, run RecruitMyself's free CV score: one full scan per email, rated out of 100 across 30 checks, with no credit card. If you would rather tailor each application with a chat assistant you already use, take the free AI for Your Job Search course, which covers matching an application to the actual advert and practising against a sceptical interviewer.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free alternative to Teal?
Yes, several, each free in a different way. Simplify keeps autofill, its tracker, job matches and a basic builder free; Huntr has a $0 plan; Careerflow's free plan tracks 10 jobs with autofill; Rezi's gives one resume, three PDF downloads and free autofill; and Jobscan's builder is free beside 5 scans a month. RecruitMyself lets you build and preview a resume, run one full CV score per email and use its autofill extension for free, while a download starts a 7-day Pro pass at $2.95. Teal's own free plan already keeps unlimited resumes, tracking and PDF downloads, so check what you would gain before you move. If better tailoring is what you are after, our free short course AI for Your Job Search shows how to tailor a CV and covering letter to a specific advert without inventing anything.
Which Teal alternative costs less than Teal+?
Among the seven tools on this page, the lowest month-to-month price is RecruitMyself Pro at $19 a month, which builds and checks your resume, scores open roles against your profile and fills in application forms. Careerflow Premium ($23.99) also comes in under Teal+'s $29 for 30 days. Longer terms go lower: Rezi's quarterly plan works out at $19 a month, and Resume.io's 3-month plan costs $49.95.
Will any of these send applications for me?
Mostly not: they fill in the form and leave the submit button to you. RecruitMyself, Teal, Careerflow, Simplify and Huntr fill in forms that you review and send, and Jobscan's Auto Apply fills forms for you to review before you submit. Rezi's changelog lists a September 2026 update that added auto-apply on Greenhouse-hosted postings. Resume.io fills in no forms that we could find.
