9 Best AI Job Search Tools in 2026, Prices Checked

By

· Updated · 13 min read

The nine AI job search tools worth comparing in 2026 are RecruitMyself, LoopCV, Careerflow, Teal, Jobright, Simplify, Huntr, Jobscan and AIApply, each checked on 16 October 2026 against eight job-search steps and priced. RecruitMyself comes first on price per step: it covers seven of the eight steps, from matched listings and a 0-100 CV score to AI interview prep, on one Pro plan at $19 a month, or $2.71 a step. RecruitMyself is made by a company connected to Automate Basics. LoopCV ($3.33 a step) and Careerflow ($3.43 a step) come next.

Key takeaways

  • RecruitMyself covers seven of the eight job-search steps we counted, from matched listings and a 0-100 CV score to AI interview prep and a weekday shortlist email, on one Pro plan at $19 a month: $2.71 a step, the lowest price per step of the nine tools here.
  • LoopCV ($3.33 a step, with applications sent for you) and Careerflow ($3.43 a step, with a job search portal and email alerts) come next, each covering six or seven steps.
  • Jobright covers all eight steps on its own pages and in reviews, including an application tracker, on its Turbo plan, reported at $39.99 a month in August 2026.
  • Other picks by need: Simplify for free autofill, matching and tracking; Huntr for a board of every application; Jobscan for a match score against each posting; LoopCV for applications sent for you; Careerflow for LinkedIn profile work.
  • Each tool's full plan costs from $19 a month (RecruitMyself) to $78 (AIApply's Premium plus its smallest Auto Apply bundle).

An AI job search tool takes over part of the hunt: finding roles that fit, scoring and tailoring your CV, drafting the cover letter, filling in the form, practising the interview, flagging new openings and tracking each application. The nine worth comparing in 2026 are RecruitMyself, LoopCV, Careerflow, Teal, Jobright, Simplify, Huntr, Jobscan and AIApply. RecruitMyself comes first for one need, the most of a job search in one account for the monthly price: seven steps for $19 a month. Each entry below counts the tool's steps, prices the plan that unlocks them and names its gaps.

If you would rather run these steps with a chat assistant you already use, take the free AI for Your Job Search course: it shows you how to name your transferable skills, tailor a CV and cover letter to the advert without inventing anything, and practise against a sceptical interviewer.

How we ranked these tools

We split a job search into eight steps: matches (open roles scored or filtered against your profile), a CV score, per-job tailoring, cover letters, applying (an extension that fills in forms for you to submit, or a service that submits them), interview prep, alerts for new matching roles, and tracking your applications by stage.

To make the list, a tool had to cover at least four steps and have a self-serve monthly price we could find. For each tool we took the cheapest plan, billed month to month, that unlocks every step it covers, and divided its price by the number of steps, rounded to the cent. The list runs from the lowest price per step to the highest; where two tools round to the same cent, the lower unrounded price per step goes first, then the tool covering more steps. A step counts only where the tool's own pages or a review we found name it. Where prices conflicted, we used a named plan's price over a "from" price and a newer dated figure over an older one, and the entry says so.

RecruitMyself's facts come from its own pages, read on 16 October 2026. Each rival's features come mainly from a web search limited to its own site, and its prices from open web searches, all run the same day; prices found only in third-party reviews are marked as reported. Figures are in US dollars unless a vendor quotes euros. If you would rather wire some of these steps together yourself, our guide to automating the repetitive half of a job hunt shows how with general AI tools.

1. RecruitMyself (seven steps for $19 a month)

RecruitMyself is made by a company connected to Automate Basics.

RecruitMyself runs a job search from one account. Its job board pulls listings from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and SmartRecruiters boards twice a day and scores each one against your profile. It gives your CV a 0-100 score from 30 checks, tailors your CV to each job in one click, drafts cover letters, preps you for interviews for any role and company, and emails you roles scored 70% and up at 8 AM on weekdays.

Price: Pro is $19 a month billed monthly, with a 7-day money-back guarantee (RecruitMyself pricing). Building and previewing a resume is free, but the first PDF download starts a 7-day Pro pass for $2.95, then $19 a month unless you cancel.

Free: one full CV scan per email address, and a Chrome extension that autofills forms on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, LinkedIn and company career pages. You review and submit every application yourself.

Where it falls short: its pages name no application tracker for the self-serve account, and the 3-month and yearly prices are not published.

Pick it if: you want matched roles, CV work, autofill, interview prep and a daily shortlist in one account, at a lower monthly price than any other plan in the table above.

For a done-for-you route, its Apply For You service has a person find roles and apply for you, with AI matching, a tailored cover letter for each role and interview coaching. The price is quoted after a free consultation, and the bespoke package refunds you if you do not reach two final-stage interviews within 90 days.

To see where your CV stands first, get RecruitMyself's free 0-100 CV score: one full scan per email address, with no card needed.

2. LoopCV (applications sent for you every day)

LoopCV runs saved searches that check job boards every day and score each listing against your profile, then either apply on their own or collect the matches for you to send with one click. It can also email recruiters your CV with a personal message, and every application lands in a Kanban tracker.

Price: a free plan with no card; Standard is reported at $19.99 a month for 100 applications. LoopCV's own pricing page says paid plans start from €9.99 a month but does not list the tiers.

Steps covered: matched listings, AI CV checks on paid plans, per-job keyword tailoring (named on its blog), automatic applying, a free AI mock interview you start from any job match with instant feedback, and tracking.

Where it falls short: we found no cover letters on its product pages, and an application sent without your review is only as good as the search behind it.

Pick it if: you want volume: a steady stream of applications without filling in each form.

3. Careerflow (LinkedIn profile work beside a tracker)

Careerflow is built around a Kanban job tracker with notes, follow-up reminders and analytics. Its Job Search Portal gathers listings from more than 50 sources, including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and ZipRecruiter, with filters and real-time email job alerts (Careerflow job search). Its extension saves jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Google Jobs and company career pages, and autofill completes forms on several applicant tracking systems.

Price: Premium is $23.99 a month, or $172.99 a year (Careerflow Premium). A third-party review lists Premium Plus at $44.99 a month.

Steps covered: an ATS score and keyword analyser, a resume builder that matches a pasted job post, AI cover letters, autofill, job-specific mock interviews, email job alerts and the tracker.

Where it falls short: the portal filters listings by your search rather than scoring them against your profile, so we did not count matches, and its pages do not say which plan includes the alerts. Its pages disagree on whether mock interviews are free or part of Premium, and the third-party review puts them in Premium Plus; we counted them at the Premium price.

Pick it if: you also want your LinkedIn profile reworked: Premium adds an advanced LinkedIn optimiser.

4. Teal (many resume versions next to a tracker)

Teal pairs a resume builder that keeps many tailored versions with a tracker that saves jobs from more than 40 job boards through its Chrome extension and logs each stage, interview and note.

Price: Teal+ is $29 every 30 days, $13 every 7 days or $79 every 90 days (Teal+ pricing). The free plan keeps unlimited resumes and job tracking, with limited AI credits.

Steps covered: a match score with keyword suggestions, AI tailoring, cover letters, autofill for application questions, AI interview practice and tracking.

Where it falls short: we found no matched job feed or alerts, one reviewer notes there is no free trial of Teal+, and you still submit every application yourself.

Pick it if: you keep one resume per kind of role and want the documents and the tracker in one place.

5. Jobright (a matched job feed with every other step)

Jobright starts from matching: it recommends roles against your profile and sends instant alerts. Its own comparison pages also name an ATS score or match rate, AI cover letters, AI mock interviews, a tracker and a Chrome extension that fills in forms you preview before you submit (Jobright vs Huntr).

Price: Turbo was reported at $39.99 a month in August 2026, up from $29.99, with a weekly plan at $17.99. A free tier gives limited credits that reset each day. We found no pricing table published by Jobright, and one of its own blog posts quotes lower monthly figures.

Where it falls short: reviewers report its resume AI adding skills, metrics or credentials that were not on the original CV, so read every tailored version before you send it. Billing and cancellation complaints are common in its negative reviews.

Pick it if: you want the job feed first, with every other step beside it, and the higher monthly price suits you.

6. Simplify (free autofill, matching and tracking)

Simplify's Copilot extension fills in application forms from one saved profile and never submits for you. Simplify says autofill, the tracker, job matches and a basic resume builder will stay free for everyone (Simplify autofill).

Price: the core is free. Simplify+, which adds AI tailoring and cover letters, is $39.99 a month, $19.99 a week or $89.99 for three months (Simplify+ features and pricing, read 16 October 2026).

Steps covered: job matches, a resume score and keywords score, tailoring, cover letters, autofill and tracking. Four of the six cost nothing.

Where it falls short: we found no interview prep or alerts; its 5-minute AI interview builds your profile rather than preparing you. Simplify calls its resume score guidance, not an employer's ATS score.

Pick it if: you want autofill, matching and a tracker without paying, and you are happy to write your own letters.

7. Huntr (a board for every application)

Huntr centres on a drag-and-drop board that moves each application through its stages (Huntr job tracker). Its Chrome extension saves jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter and hundreds of other sites, and fills in forms where the form is visible on the page.

Price: Pro is $40 a month, or $30 a month billed quarterly. The free plan's tracking limit is reported as 40 jobs by one source and 100 by another.

Steps covered: a resume checker that scores your CV against a posting, tailored resumes, AI cover letters, autofill, interview questions generated for each saved job with STAR sample answers drawn from your resume (Huntr interview question generator), and tracking.

Where it falls short: we found no listings board or alerts, and its interview prep is written questions and sample answers rather than live practice interviews. Some employer sites block the extension.

Pick it if: you apply widely and need one board that shows where every application stands.

8. Jobscan (a match score against each posting)

Jobscan compares your CV with one posting and returns a match rate and report on hard skills, job title, soft skills and other keywords (Jobscan). Its AI editor proposes changes you accept or reject, a cover letter generator works from the same CV and posting, and a free Chrome extension checks the match rate and saves jobs to your tracker from LinkedIn, Indeed and Glassdoor. Its pages also name job matching and Auto Apply, which fills in forms for you to review before you submit.

Price: Premium is $49.95 a month, or $89.95 a quarter. The free plan gives about five scans a month.

Where it falls short: we found no interview prep or alerts, and one review notes that quarterly plans carry no pro-rated refunds.

Pick it if: your main question is how well a given CV fits a given posting, and you will run that check often.

9. AIApply (help during the interview, plus auto-apply)

AIApply bundles an ATS resume scanner, a builder that tailors your CV and a cover letter to each posting, mock interviews and a job board (AIApply). Auto Apply finds matching roles, writes tailored documents and submits the applications for you, and Interview Buddy shows suggestions on screen during live Zoom, Meet or Teams interviews.

Price: Premium is $29 a month and Interview Buddy $19 a month. Auto Apply is sold separately, from $49 a month for 100 applications, per an October 2026 review. Premium with the smallest Auto Apply bundle comes to $78 a month, before Interview Buddy.

Where it falls short: applying is priced on top of the subscription, so the bill rises with every bundle of applications, and we found no alerts or tracker.

Pick it if: you want help during the interview itself as well as before it. For practice without a subscription, you can also turn any job description into tailored interview questions with ChatGPT.

Tools we left out

Sonara is named in AI answers about this topic, and one directory listing says it relaunched in June 2026 after BOLD acquired it. Its own pages confirm two of our eight steps, matched listings and applications filled in for you, below our bar of four. It is reported at $2.95 for a 14-day trial, then $23.95 every four weeks.

Before you choose

Several rival prices above come from third-party reviews rather than a published price list, so check each checkout page before you pay; every figure here was read on 16 October 2026.
