// why this exists
I automate my businesses. Here's exactly how.
I run more than one business. I'm not a big team, I'm one person with a lot to do, which means I either automate the repetitive parts or I drown in them. Over the years I've wired up the unglamorous machinery that keeps several ventures running: the follow-ups, the invoices, the content, the onboarding, the daily admin.
Automate Basics is me showing you the actual systems. Not a highlight reel, not an income screenshot. The same workflows I rely on, broken down so a complete beginner can rebuild them. If "multipreneur" means anything here, it just means I'm the live test case: if an automation can hold up across several businesses run by one person, it'll hold up for you.
And it’s not only for people who run businesses. Whether you work inside a company on a locked-down laptop, run a one-person brand, or lead a small team, and whether the right tool is a self-hosted workflow or the ChatGPT tab already open, the goal is the same: the outcome, on whatever you’re allowed to use.
// what I believe
You don’t need an agency.
Most automation content is really a pitch to start an AI agency. You probably just want your own work to take less time. That’s the whole site.
Start from your job, not the tool.
Nobody wakes up wanting to "learn n8n." They want their invoices chased, their follow-ups sent, their content posted. We start there and work backwards to the tool.
The right tool, not one tool.
Sometimes the answer is a self-hosted n8n workflow. Just as often it’s the ChatGPT, Copilot, or Apple Shortcut already on your machine. n8n is one option here, never the religion. We tell you which fits you, and why.
Works at work, too.
If you’re an employee on a locked-down laptop with no admin rights, most automation tutorials are useless to you. We lead with no-install paths that run inside the tools IT already approved.
Show the whole build.
No paywalled "secret." The workflow is the lesson. If it works, you should be able to copy it and run it today.
The deal
You tell me what you want automated. I build it, write it up so anyone can follow, and publish it. Asking is free. If you want it faster, deeper, as a video, or just done for you. That's the request queue.
